Hello again! Yup, this is another task from Mr. Acep Taryana ‘s Project Management Lecture. This time we have to make a Software Requirements Specification (SRS) based on IEEE Std 830-1998.
SRS is a specification for a particular software product, program, or set of programs that performs certain functions in a specific environment. It should explains the scope, references, definitions, background information, and other essential parts.
Seems confusing right? Yes it is! (LOL), A good SRS perhaps can contains up to hundreds pages, since it describes the A-Z detailly of a software. But my SRS just only contains of not more than 20 pages. (hehe). There are several things that I didn’t include in my paper due to the limited source of the project that I had. But after all, the point is learning progress. From here, I know how to make SRS, and how to certify a program with this IEEE 830 standards (It needs a hard effort!), and for the next I hope there will be betterment, of course!
Taking the title School Embedded Information System or Sistem Informasi Terpadu Sekolah, you can download it below.
Cheers!
